Process and Value Mapping

 

After learning the fundamentals of Lean Thinking, one of the next steps is to decide how to begin to improve any business process.
The first question is “What business process should we improve?” The Management team would direct a Lean Team towards one of the areas that is in most need of improvement.
To begin, one must analyze the designated area or Business Process to totally understand how the current process is functioning. The most time proven method of dissecting a process is to develop detailed Process Map how it is performed in it’s present state.
This second of the Six – Part certificate series is designed to teach groups of people to analyze, dissect and develop an improvement program.
